The Youth Empowerment Initiatives Collaborates with Teen Media Network.
As part of our approach to forge partnerships and collaboration with relevant stakeholders in establishing a strong network dedicated to addressing identified needs of the communities we serve, we are pleased to work with Teens Media Network to implement a 4 month program for school-going-children between the ages of 11-19 years old. The program is aimed at providing career pathway to children who are interested in media work. The program will provide skills in Media Literacy, Leadership Development, Content Creation, etc.
The program endeavors to bring together 35 – 40 teenagers in Liberia to acquire new knowledge and skills.
This initiative aligns with our Career Pathway Awareness (CPA) program which helps to provide information about the educational pathway required for selected careers, advancement opportunities, salaries and benefits, background/training, what is do each day, colleges available to attend for this career, and possible stories of best days, and what can go wrong in your career.
Teens Media Network is led by Magdalene Saah and other media professionals in Liberia.
