Over 200 kids benefit from our Ministry to Children intervention in the Glozohn Community, Montserrado County over the weekend.
Reaching out to children in underprivileged communities continues to be one of the ways we put smiles on the faces of kids. For more than four years we have been working with kids in this community through our Ministry to Children program. The program takes the Word of God to these kids through Bible Studies, recreation, the supply of school materials (notebooks, pencils, pens, backpacks, etc.), clothing, and the distribution of toys. Most children in the community are from poor families and struggle to meet basic needs. Through this program, we endeavor to serve both their spiritual and physical needs, and give them the pleasure of having smiles on their faces.
Glozohn has an estimated population of six thousands inhabitants, with predominately families living below fifty cents ($0.50) a day.
The community is a fast-growing with lots of children needing care, guidance, and support for spiritual, educational, and physical growths.
Meeting these needs is a challenge for which we seek partnership.
